I was born on a small town on a mountain in North East, PA. On one side was a coal mine and many stripping mines -- deep holes in the ground, not beautiful but a lot of fun. The other side is a native forest full of wonderful mushrooms, edible wild greens, fish, and animals. Also a wonderful place to explore and enjoy.

I moved to NYC in 1965 to go to Manhattan School of Music. I  also worked with Judson Poets Theatre, as well as Judson Dance Theatre, Cafe Chino, and the new "Happenings". I was also in the civil rights movement, the anti Vietnam War, and was at stonewall riots; making  movements happen to further goals of freedom.

Later I helped start a monthly sex party which I led until the pandemic. We chose during the HIV epidemic to continue with strict rules of safer sex. We felt that the best place to get people to accept new rules was with others who have similar desires. It did help to change at least those participants.

I have been with Rev Billy and church of Stop Shopping for most of its being and am still there this year, every Sunday at 7 at Quaker Meeting House on 15th st. near 2nd Ave. I am with West Village Coral as well. Had the GREAT JOY and honor of being in the 24 Decade History of Popular Music at St Ann's theatre. One of my favorite participations ever. Love to Taylor and Machine and all involved.
